I will be training to complete 10km within an hour from May to July. This is a personal challenge because I have never tried to run more than 5km. In the meantime, I will have to battle with myself not only in terms of fitness, but also to develop a strong mind to finish the goal. Also, doing exercise promotes health and well-being which are the targets of RGU:Go India project.
The RGU Go: India project will involve myself and 11 students from RGU and two lecturers, travelling to India for a month to deliver a health and well-being initiative in Manipal, India. We are currently working very hard with our partnered students in Manipal to develop a sustainable project that can help to encourage sport participation, fitness and nutritional awareness in the region.
